Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Account Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of client accounts. You will be responsible for client retention, upselling opportunities, and ensuring an exceptional service experience throughout the client lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned portfolio of client accounts
Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to assess client satisfaction and needs
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and work with the sales team to close them
Resolve client issues promptly, coordinating with internal teams where required
Prepare and present account performance reports and insights
Manage contract renewals and negotiate terms to secure long-term relationships
Maintain accurate account records in the CRM system
Qualifications and Experience
3+ years of experience in account management, client success, or B2B sales
Proven track record of retaining and growing client accounts
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
Strong analytical ability to interpret account data and identify trends
Self-motivated and results-driven with a client-first mindset
Comfortable managing multiple accounts simultaneously in a remote environment
Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Salary: R32,000/month | 100% Remote
