Job description: Job Description:Pay: $15.30/hour + Performance-based tiersLocation: We currently offer remote work to qualified applicants that live within 30 miles of Logan, UT, Salt Lake City, UT, and Mandan, ND. Can be remote after 90 days of meeting expectationsSchedule: Monday - Friday 6-3, 7-4, or 8 am - 5 pm Mountain TimeOverviewCorrection managers and Stop Funds specialists are the final defense for preventing incorrect payments and making client funding issues right again. Specialists working on stop funds issues will work promptly to advance, retract, and refund invoices caught with errors before payment is made. Issues discovered after bills have been paid are researched by the correction manager. You will research what happened with the invoice and take corrective actions to pay the right providers, refund and request funds from the
correct clients, and help correct accounts to avoid future errors. We have seen success in applicants who (1) Are able to learn new software and accurately research issues quickly, (2) Have a talent for recognizing and correcting any discrepancies within data sets, (3) Can work independently to investigate inconsistencies and resolve them, (4) Utilize critical thinking skills, and (5) Strong organization and time management skills.Responsibilities
- Organizing, recording, and sending out checks to utility providers
- Reconciling funds received from a variety of sources
- Using accounting software to run daily funds reports
- Generating ACH files to submit to banks to pull funds from client accounts
- Generating EDI/ARC files to submit to the bank
- Correcting accounts that were set up or processed incorrectly and refunding clients for these
- Comfortable using a computer and a 10-key number pad
- Proficient in navigating through multiple computer programs
- Able to solve problems independently using the resources and tools available to you
- Able to make unaided decisions and commit processes to memory
- Average to fast typing speed (40-70 words per minute)
- Quick mental processing and good hand-to-eye coordination, are preferred
- Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Chat, Meet), preferred
- Comfortable on the phone (phone calls about once every two weeks to utility providers)
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
Expected salary: $15.3 per hour
