Adaptive Personal Trainer

About the position As a GYMGUYZ Adaptive Personal Trainer, you will deliver thoughtful, client-centered fitness services tailored to individuals with diverse needs and abilities. This role blends hands-on coaching with relationship building, program oversight and brand representation in the community. You will serve as a trusted partner in each client’s progress while contributing to team development and supporting the continued growth of the business. Responsibilities • Deliver personalized in-home and on-site personal training sessions tailored to clients of all fitness levels and goals, including those with intellectual and physical disabilities • Design customized fitness programs using the GYMGUYZ Fitness App based on client needs and preferences • Ensure client safety, provide ongoing motivation and support the client fitness journey • Educate clients on proper exercise techniques and the importance of a healthy lifestyle • Conduct reassessments to monitor client progress and convert renewal sales • Manage appointments and schedules using the GYMGUYZ scheduling app • Travel to client locations, ensuring punctuality, professionalism and adherence to brand standards • Participate in team meetings and perform additional duties as assigned Requirements • Proven experience working with adaptive populations, e.g. individuals with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy or ILO, or in special education settings - required • Nationally recognized personal training certification, e.g. NASM, ISSA, ACE, ACSM - required • Current CPR/AED certification - required • Comprehensive knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy and nutrition • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an energetic, engaging presence • Ability to commute to client sessions; most sessions are within a 30-minute travel radius.
