WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Advocacy Programming Director is a remote position based in the United States. The main responsibilities of the Programming Director are to guide a cohesive trade programming strategy across all advocacy programs and to ensure that advocacy programming is delivering against individual brand and overall BUSA business needs via the briefing and recapping processes.
Main Purpose
Guide the overall trade-programming strategy across all BUSA brands and manage a team of (3) Programming Managers. Lead the advocacy-brand briefing process from a programming perspective and lead the process for all programming recapping as needed.
WAYS TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD
Overall Responsibilities
Guide the ideation/development of all advocacy programming with programming managers, Natl BA’s and brand teams
Collaborate with brand teams on the advocacy briefing process to ensure aligned on specific brand advocacy objectives
Leads development of business, portfolio and category Gatekeeper programming
Create and manage an overall advocacy programming calendar to ensure BUSA brands are not competing against eachother
Lead the recapping process for all programming and support Group Director programming requests
Support both Advocacy Managers and BUSA brand teams on Nat’l BA strategy. Advise on Nat’l BA programming and KPI’s. Spearhead efforts for Nat’l BA annual meetings.
Finance Responsibilities
Work within the parameters of the budget for each brand in conjunction with the Advocacy programming Team
Liaise with all members of the Advocacy team to ensure regular budget updates and accruals are recorded accurately.
Communicate with Advocacy management team regarding PO tracking and budget status
Travel Responsibilities:
Travel will be at the discretion of the Programming Director with general Group director oversight. Attendance at Marquis activations is expected with additional programming manager support as needed.
Travel may be required to gather insights for program development as needed
