Behavioral Health Technician (2nd Shift)

$17.00 per hour + shift differential up to $1.50 per hour
Full-Time | 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
About the Role
Silvermist Recovery is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team in Renfrew, PA. This is an essential direct-care role supporting clients in residential and outpatient treatment. The BHT is responsible for supervising and engaging with clients, assisting the clinical team, and helping ensure a safe, supportive environment that promotes recovery. This position also includes providing transportation services for Pyramid Healthcare clients as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Complete the intake process for new clients entering the program
Maintain accurate client documentation and records
Observe and document client self-administration of medication when applicable
Coordinate and support client activities throughout the shift
Follow treatment plan objectives and address client-specific needs
Provide safe and reliable transportation for clients as needed
Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and respond appropriately, including crisis intervention
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment within the facility
Assist with client dietary needs when necessary
Transport clients to and from designated locations within expected timeframes
Supervise and support clients during transportation
Maintain all required documentation related to services provided
Complete all required trainings and certifications
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous behavioral health or healthcare experience preferred
Valid driver’s license in the state of hire with a safe driving record
Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required
