Nurses working with us have the unique benefit of being exposed to various settings throughout HFHS because they float to where staffing needs are identified. This may be ongoing to fill an employee's hours that is on a leave of absence, call-ins, increase of census or to cover vacation requests. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: * High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. * Graduate of CAAHEP accredited Surgical Technology program required. * Specific knowledge of surgical procedures within the operating room (OR), in addition to knowledge of surgical procedures, practices and techniques in providing patient care and assisting surgeons in the O.R. * Minimum of three years of experience as a Surgical Technologist. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES: * Current BLS certification required. * Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
