What you'll do Business Development & Client Growth (Primary Focus) Develop and expand relationships with municipalities, local agencies, and public/private sector clients  Identify and pursue new project opportunities  Lead proposal development, presentations, and client meetings  Build and maintain a strong pipeline of municipal work  Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and position the firm for long-term partnerships  Project Management & Delivery Manage the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects  Oversee scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful delivery  Coordinate internal teams across disciplines  Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle  Ensure compliance with permitting and regulatory requirements  Leadership & Strategy Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff  Support strategic growth initiatives in the municipal market  Contribute to revenue growth through project delivery and new client acquisition  What it takes 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on municipal infrastructure Background working with a consulting firm or municipality  Proven experience in business development, client management, or winning work  Strong understanding of municipal systems (water, wastewater, stormwater, roadways)  Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain)  Excellent communication and relationship-building skills  Ability to operate independently and drive growth
