Client Support & Junior Retirement Plan Administrator – Remote - Applicants located in Central MN

Spectrum Employee Benefits is a growing, locally owned Third-Party Administration (TPA) firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented team member to support both client service and retirement plan administration functions. This is a fully remote position with a full benefits package and tremendous opportunity for long-term growth within the firm. This role combines customer support, administrative coordination, problem-solving, and retirement plan operations. We are willing to train the right candidate who is organized, self-motivated, analytical, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment. What You Will Do • Serve as a point of contact for participant and client inquiries • Assist participants and plan sponsors with website navigation and online support • Enter and maintain employee enrollment and contribution data • Process and reconcile retirement plan contributions • Assist with retirement plan administration projects and compliance work • Work with spreadsheets, reports, and large data sets • Communicate professionally with clients, advisors, and recordkeepers • Support senior administrators while learning retirement plan administration fundamentals • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote work environment What We’re Looking For • Strong organizational and time management skills • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities • Solid math aptitude and attention to detail • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with spreadsheets and data • Professional communication skills and customer service mindset • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment • Dependable, accountable, and proactive Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of college education preferred • Degree or coursework in accounting, finance, business, HR, mathematics, or related field preferred • Accounting, payroll, bookkeeping, HR, customer service, or professional office experience preferred • 2–5 years of professional experience preferred • Retirement plan industry experience is a plus, but not required Benefits • Fully remote position • Health insurance • 401(k) plan with employer match • Paid holidays and PTO • Ongoing training and professional development • Significant long-term growth opportunity within the firm This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term professional career in retirement plan administration and client service.
