Collaborative Physician

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Collaborative Physician to join our innovative healthcare team. This is a start up. In this vital role, you will work remotely with a seasoned Nurse Practitioner who conducts pre-employment examinations and substance use testing, seeking to expand to non-urgent care. This is an adult-only location with low-liability. Your expertise will help foster a cohesive environment where patient outcomes are prioritized through effective communication, shared decision-making, and adherence to best practices. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence patient care delivery across diverse medical specialties while contributing to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Duties • Collaborate with Nurse Practitioner and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that align with best practices and patient needs. • Review and interpret medical imaging, laboratory results, and diagnostic evaluations to support clinical decision-making. • Participate in the growth of the business by allowing us to expand to provide non-urgent care: medication refills, lab draws, treatment for simple ailments and infections. • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, NCQA standards, and hospital policies while maintaining accurate and complete medical records. • Provide prescriptive authority to allow treatment, order imaging, and referrals. • Understand the theory of start-up with the potential to earn more as we grow. • Support a transitioning business model. Requirements • Medical degree with an unrestricted license and DEA in Georgia as a MD/DO. Must reside within a 50-mile radius of 30294. • Personable and respectful demeanor. • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as CharmHealth or EMR systems for documentation and data management. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams while maintaining patient-centered focus. • Basic life support (BLS) certification required. • NRCME DOT certification or knowledge of regulations, preferred but not required. • Willingness to allow us to expand services to those for which we have existing contracts. • Familiarity of requirements as a Collaborator in Georgia. Pay: $500.00 - $1,000.00 per month Work Location: Remote
