We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) with the ability to prescribe Buprenorphine and/or Methadone. This role offers flexibility for remote or onsite care, with availability needed on weekdays, evenings, and weekends. The CRNP will conduct physical assessments, manage treatment plans, and provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
• Perform psychiatric assessments, physical examinations, and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient needs
• Record clinical findings, formulate treatment plans, and establish prognosis based on patient condition
• Develop and submit individualized health care plans for periodic physician review
• Prescribe or recommend medications (including Buprenorphine and/or Methadone), therapies, and other treatments in accordance with scope of practice
• Refer patients to physicians or specialized health resources when appropriate
• Provide patient education, counseling, and follow-up care
• Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
• Deliver formal staff in-service training as needed
• Participate in continuing education programs and required in-services
• Communicate and collaborate with outside laboratories, hospitals, clinics, and physician offices
Requirements
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
• Licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)
• DEA certification with authorization to prescribe Buprenorphine and/or Methadone
• Experience prescribing Buprenorphine required; Methadone experience preferred
• ANA certification preferred
• ASAM certification and ability to complete ASAM level of care assessments required
• Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric experience required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in virtual or onsite settings
• Flexibility to provide care during evenings and weekends
