Donor Services & Gift Processing Manager - Faith-Based Nonprofit

Description Missionwell is proud to partner with Walk Thru the Bible in the search for a Donor Services Manager and Accounting Support. This individual will play a key role in supporting both donor relationships and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and excellence in service. NOTE: THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN THE ATLANTA, GA AREA Location: Peachtree Corners, GA (Hybrid Remote) Reports to: VP for Development and Accounting Supervisor Status: Full-Time Primary Responsibilities • Donor Stewardship • Gift Administration -Entry, accounting, receipting, tax statements, reporting and maange the distribution of all thank-you letters and tax receipts within 48-hours of receipt; • Relationship administration - Data collection, proper notes, wealth screening, info tracking, reporting and respond to donor inquiries regarding gift history, payment updates, and instructions for non-cash contributions • Assist leadership and development officers with using the database for enhanced relational management • Utilize research tools to identify and cultivate high-capacity donors • Communications Management • Plan and manage various mailings and appeals, providing segmentations and project management • Prepare, print, and mail personalized letters and packages for events and appeals to portfolio donors • Assist with digital messaging and donor email communications • Create and maintain reports for outcome assessments and informed planning • Assist with planning and strategizing new and regular donor communications • Office Integration • Coordinate and reconcile donations with accounting, providing reports also for auditors and leadership • Share and receive information with other departments on blended projects • Maintain supplies and materials regularly used for development activities • Collect and direct gift information from various portals including mail, website, NCF, and other receiving accounts • Accounts Payable: • Enter all vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements into the general ledger and pay weekly • Enter payments to global partners into the general ledger and pay via money wires monthly • Monitor bank accounts and transfer funds as needed • Reclassification journal entries as needed • Accounts Receivable: • Log checks and process them via remote deposit scanner • Enter receipts into the general ledger weekly • Assist with annual audit and Form 990 data collection • Other duties assigned by VP for Development and Financial Supervisor • Limited overnight travel: Staff outings, conferences, etc. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred (equivalent non-profit experience considered) • Experience: 2+ years experince in Donor relations and in a relational database environment (CRM) • Microsoft Office proficiency • Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn MIP accounting software Professional Attributes • Meticulous Accuracy: A passion for precision in data and financial reconciliation • Discretion: Proven ability to handle sensitive financial and personal information with absolute confidentiality • Service & Team Mindset: A team player who views administrative excellence as a form of ministry Spiritual Alignment • Personal Faith: A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a lifestyle reflecting biblical values • Statement of Faith: Full agreement with Walk Thru the Bible’s Statement of Faith • Church Involvement: Active involvement in a local church community Working Conditions • Physical: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and operate standard office tools (computers, scanners, etc.) • Dexterity: High level of optical and manual dexterity for data entry and screen navigation • Lifting: Ability to occasionally lift objects up to 20 pounds
