Estate Planning Paralegal

Job Description: We are seeking a Estate Planning Paralegal who is passionate about law and takes pride in producing top-tier legal work. Key Responsibilities: • Supporting all aspects of the attorney’s work including e-filing, scheduling, contacting clients. • Coordinate the collection, review, and production of documents, including handling discovery and e-discovery protocols. • Schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings, and liaise with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors. • Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and discovery responses in accordance with court rules for the attorney's review. • Manage case files, track critical deadlines, and maintain organized and up-to-date case databases. • Conduct in-depth legal research, cite-checking, and fact-finding to support case strategies. • Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness materials, and provide on-site trial support as needed. • Be a direct point of contact for clients. • Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed, including transcription, translation, spreadsheet management, and email writing to ensure operational efficiency. Qualifications: • Experience (minimum 2 years) in the estate planning legal field. • Hold an associate degree or equivalent. • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is capable of cultivating relationships with attorneys, staff, and the community. • Proficiency in Wealth Counsel, and usage of tools such as Microsoft Office.
