**Job Summary**
As a Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance with behavioral health-related issues. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to inbound calls, provide support, and connect callers with the appropriate resources. This role requires a high level of professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving skills, as you will be interacting with individuals facing emotionally charged situations.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Respond to inbound calls in a timely and professional manner
* Provide support and assistance to callers, connecting them with the appropriate resources
* Document all calls and conversations in accordance with careerzynith's documentation policies
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills
* Stay calm and composed under pressure, even in high-stress situations
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and support
**Requirements**
* Prior experience in a call center setting is required
* Medical or behavioral health experience is highly preferred
* Ability to work from home with a distraction-free environment
* Valid North Carolina driver's license
* Ability to work a full-time schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
* Willingness to work all holidays, even if they fall on a weekend
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and during potentially high-stress calls
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a behavioral health setting
* Knowledge of behavioral health resources and services
* Bilingual or multilingual skills
* Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs)
