This role requires a strong customer service orientation, technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring a positive experience for all customers. * Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and troubleshoot problems in a timely and professional manner. * Take orders, answer questions, and provide product and service information to customers. * Maintain accurate records and documentation, including customer interactions, orders, and issues. * Collaborate with internal teams, including Dispatch and Billing, to ensure seamless service delivery. * Stay up-to-date on Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources for equipment, verifying medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders. * Meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent customer service. * Make sales or recommendations for products or services that complement customer needs, as applicable. * Perform other duties as assigned by management. **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED). * 6 months of relevant customer service experience, preferably in a medical equipment or healthcare setting. * Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. * Customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences. * Attention to detail, with strong data entry skills. * Proficiency with computers, including strong typing skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and resolving issues. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a call center or customer-facing role. * Knowledge of medical equipment, healthcare, or related industries. * Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools. * Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. **Physical Demands** This role requires: * Regular sitting, talking, and hearing, with frequent typing and computer use. * Occasional standing and walking, with the ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs. * Specific vision abilities, including close vision. **Work Environment** As a remote employee, you will work from home, with access to careerzynith's virtual tools and resources.
