Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business results through innovative sales strategies and techniques. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide fast, friendly service to customers by actively seeking out their needs and providing assistance * Learn about products and services using our tools and provide information to customers to sell an entire project * Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department, and know how to handle basics in adjacent departments * Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe * Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, immediately correcting hazards & unsafe conditions or reporting conditions to the Manager on Duty * Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments * Participate in sales training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge * Meet or exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals * Collaborate with other departments to drive business results and improve customer experiences **Essential Qualifications:** * 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or construction-related environment * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash, operating a point-of-sale system, and processing transactions * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time * High school diploma or equivalent required;
