Experienced Customer Support Representative – Fedex Ground Services

We're committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages growth, learning, and innovation. **Job Summary** As an Experienced Customer Support Representative – Fedex Ground Services, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, addressing their inquiries, and resolving issues related to customs clearance, freight services, and other logistics-related matters. You will be the face of careerzynith, ensuring that every customer interaction is a positive and memorable experience. **Key Responsibilities** * Respond to inbound customer calls from Canada and the US, addressing their concerns and providing solutions related to customs clearance, freight services, and other logistics-related matters. * Investigate and resolve customer inquiries regarding FTNC clearances for FXG shipments into Canada, providing accurate and timely information. * Process Mastercard payments from customers, ensuring that payments are approved and not declined. * Log payments accurately against the receipt in the FTNC accounting system. * Liaise with customers directly in the event of payment processing issues, such as incorrect card numbers, expired dates, or declined payments. * Examine and respond to customer inquiries related to credit payments received and liaise with the FTN Record Receivable Office to resolve issues. * Assist the billing department in preparing credit notes for FTNC solicitations in question resolution. * Provide support to FedEx Express Customer Support Agents on inquiries related to FXG shipments in customs clearance delay or FTNC freedom receipt that the client has received in mail. * Sort and relate Low Value Shipment (LVS) Archive for the purpose of mailing. * Answer questions from other OPCOs. * Prepare FTNC solicitations to ship to clients, as required. * Perform other duties as allocated by the Manager. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Logistics, or Communications). * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, in French and English. * Strong customer service skills, with the ability to connect with a large number of customers and representatives. * Working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, IBM AS 400 Centralized computer application framework, and office equipment (fax machine/scanners/printers/scanners). * Secondary School Certificate required. **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or a related field. * Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and regulations. * Familiarity with FedEx Ground Services and FTNC clearances. * Certification in customer service or a related field. **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences. * Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At careerzynith, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
