**Job Summary**
As a Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:
* Comparing data entered with source documents to detect errors
* Entering alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer systems
* Auditing customer data for accuracy and making necessary adjustments
* Performing or assisting with other duties and projects as needed
* Complying with HIPAA guidelines and maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data
* Identifying, analyzing, and reporting data issues related to uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, and completeness of source documents
* Providing analytical governance skills to maintain successful productivity for the team
**Responsibilities**
* Compare data entered with source documents to detect errors and re-enter data in verification format on screen as needed
* Enter alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer systems following format displayed on screen and enter necessary codes
* Audit customer data for accuracy and make necessary adjustments
* Perform or assist with other duties and projects as assigned
* Comply with HIPAA guidelines and maintain the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data
* Identify, analyze, and report data issues related to uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, and completeness of source documents
* Provide analytical governance skills to maintain successful productivity for the team
**Qualifications**
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
* Quality: Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, look for ways to improve and promote quality. Apply feedback to performance and monitor own work to ensure quality
* Quantity: Meet productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner

**Education/Experience**
* A high school diploma or GED required
* Relevant work experiences a plus
