**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Technician to join our Customs Brokerage team on a part-time basis (15-20 hours per week). As a Data Entry Technician, you will be responsible for accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing exceptional customer service. **Key Responsibilities**
* Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
* Understand and identify customs documentation
* Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
* Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
* Provide excellent customer service building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
* Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
* Daily execution of workflow and department metrics
**Essential Qualifications**
* Associates or Bachelor's Degree
* Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
* Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
* Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with a high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills
* Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or supply chain
* Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
* Experience with customs entry systems and software
