Experienced Full Stack Customer Support Specialist – Remote Tax Season Support

As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, you will be part of a talented team that shares your passion for delivering exceptional support experiences and making a meaningful impact on our customers' lives. **Program Overview** Our Tax Season Support Program is a 14-week initiative that runs from January 13th to April 15th, 2025. As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing top-notch support to our customers during this critical period. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, you will work closely with our team to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide guidance on tax-related matters. **Key Responsibilities** As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include: * Providing exceptional customer support via phone, email, and chat * Resolving complex issues and answering questions related to tax laws and concepts * Collaborating with our team to develop and implement effective solutions * Staying up-to-date on changes to our products and services, as well as industry trends and developments * Participating in training and certification programs to enhance your skills and knowledge * Meeting service level and contact per hour commitments * Working a minimum of 30 hours per week, with peak periods requiring additional hours **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to empathize with customers * Intermediate-level computer skills, including proficiency in relevant operating systems and software environments * Experience with software troubleshooting and problem-solving * Ability to modify communication style to meet customer needs and tone * Customer service skills, including the ability to simplify complex ideas and diffuse angry customers * Analytical skills, including research, analysis, and problem-solving * Organizational skills, including initiative, multitasking, and time management **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: * Basic knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts * Experience providing support in a call center environment * Familiarity with tax-related software and systems **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need to possess: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle change well * Collaborative approach to problem-solving and feedback sharing * Understanding of the value of individual impact on team and company success * Ability to adhere to work schedules and flexibility to work extra shifts when needed * Comfort with being on camera with customers and humanizing interactions * Active listening skills and ability to ask probing questions * Positive and understanding attitude in the face of difficult or challenging customer interactions **Operating Hours and Schedule** As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, you will work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with peak periods requiring additional hours.
