Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Security and Compliance Engineering team. As a Data Engineer, you'll play a critical role in building and maintaining our data ecosystem, ensuring that we're handling user data with the utmost care and adhering to the highest standards of data protection and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective, flexible, and adaptable data pipelines to handle structured and unstructured data
- Develop a deep understanding of the data ecosystem at careerzynith from a data protection perspective
- Collaborate with the data protection engineering teams to understand product objectives and provide data that enables us to respond to user and regulatory data requests
- Maintain and reevaluate existing datasets and pipelines to ensure they're meeting our data protection and compliance requirements

Essential Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in programming and data engineering, with a strong background in at least one of Java, Python, or Scala

- Experience in designing data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink) on medium to large-scale datasets
- Ability to take requirements and deliver flexible and adaptable data models and pipelines
- Passion for data protection and risk mitigation, with a strong understanding of data protection regulations and guidelines
