We're seeking an experienced Live Stream Chat Moderator to join our team on a temporary part-time/ad-hoc basis. As a key member of our social media reputation management team, you'll play a vital role in protecting careerzynith's brands and ensuring a positive social experience for all users. Your expertise in moderating live comments, enforcing rules, and mentoring new moderators will be instrumental in maintaining a friendly and civil chat environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Moderating live comments in accordance with careerzynith's client-specific guidelines to ensure a positive and respectful social experience for all users.
* Carrying out moderation and training accordingly to the times scheduled in the project schedule, with a focus on maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Offering support to other moderators who need assistance, as well as mentoring new moderators and providing guidance to help them succeed in their roles.
* Banning users/comments that violate careerzynith's tenets during live events, with a focus on maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all users.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
* Excellent US English level: As you'll be reviewing comments in US English, having outstanding written communication skills and the ability to read between the lines is a must.
* Ability and feeling comfortable working in fast-paced environments with the ability to multitask and navigate a fast-moving live chat.
* Ability to be assertive, discerning, and decisive when making judgment calls regarding what is appropriate, with a focus on maintaining a fair and consistent approach.
* Previous experience in live chat moderation, social media management, or a related field is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
