Experienced Part-Time Customer Support Representative – Weekend Overnight Shift at careerzynith

Our name may be new to you, but we're dedicated to improving the way people get and stay online – today, tomorrow, and beyond. **Join the careerzynith Team** We're seeking part-time phone support specialists to join our team on a weekend overnight shift (approximately 10pm-7am Friday and Saturday nights). As a Customer Support Representative at careerzynith, you'll play a vital role in supporting our customers with Gigabit Internet services. If you have a basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and wireless routers, and a strong interest in computers/networking along with customer service skills and experience, we're willing to train advanced skills. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** As a Customer Support Representative at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for: * Configuring and troubleshooting wired and wireless network issues for customers over the phone * Recognizing and understanding how to configure customers' equipment to connect to the Internet via a wireless router, which may include connecting standard consumer electronic devices such as streaming devices, computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and more * Providing a high level of customer service, educating customers on the use of products and services, and recommending products and services to meet customer needs * Conducting follow-up calls to customers with recent completed service requests or calls * Replying to customer email inquiries * Working with customers to sign up for new service and resolve basic billing issues * Troubleshooting advanced networking protocols within the company network **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A High School Diploma or equivalent education * Previous networking or telephone customer service/support experience * A basic understanding of computer hardware and software and consumer wireless routers * High ethical standards, a strong work ethic, and an emphasis on team commitment, respect for others, the ability to acknowledge and build on others' ideas, and support for group decisions * The ability to solve problems with patience and a positive approach * Self-motivation, attention to detail, and organization with the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Proficiency in computer hardware, software, and wireless routers * Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At careerzynith, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
