**Job Summary**
As a Remote Medical Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare revenue cycle management services. You'll be responsible for working through CMS portals, processing cases, and entering data into our database. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities will enable you to provide high-quality customer service while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Work through CMS portals to process cases and enter data into our database
* Review cases for eligibility and ensure accurate data entry
* Prepare, enter, track, document, and file data with a high degree of quality customer service
* Respond promptly to client inquiries via email regarding questions, report status, concerns, or general requests for information
* Utilize appropriate systems and databases to enter client or examine information and retrieve information as needed
* Pull medical records from clients' external sites and upload them into our internal database
* Ensure that all medical records are complete and properly filled out
* Assign medical records to reviewers for insight on treatment or diagnosis to help insurance companies decide whether to approve or deny claims
**Hours of Operation**
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CST
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
* 1+ year of data entry experience
* 1+ year of patient access experience
* Reliable internet connection
* High school diploma or equivalent
**Pay and Benefits**
* Competitive salary range: $15.00 - $15.00 per hour
