Job Overview
Reporting to the Global Solution Architect Lead, you will be responsible for working closely with customers and partners to design and implement solutions within our Network Security product line, including Firewalls, Switching, and Wireless products, as well as related management platforms. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving positive product outcomes, enhancing customer experience, and delivering unsurpassed support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Take a lead role in technical Pre-Sales and Post-Sales efforts, from initial discovery and qualification to solution design, demo, proof of concept, and scope of work for professional services.
- Proactively assess existing solutions in production and help customers and partners optimize their current deployments.
- Focus on delivering exceptional user experiences and ensure that our products and services provide excellent value to partners and customers.
- Identify new use cases within existing customer or partner environments, develop deployment plans, and support rollout from a design perspective.
- Share best practices in design and deployments, and oversee critical escalations between customers, partners, and SonicWall.
- Collaborate with Sales account management to retain and grow business, and participate in key events such as webinars and conferences as a technical champion and presenter.
- Develop and nurture highly effective collaborative relationships across Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and other teams to deliver world-class support experiences.
- Demonstrate strong judgment in risk management and problem mitigation, making timely decisions from both business and technical perspectives while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

- Effectively communicates critical account issues to Sales, Engineering, PM Leadership, and other invested parties.
Desired Education and Experience
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 10 years of related experience, with at least 5 years as a Network Security Architect or Senior Consultant.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience managing customer/partner accounts from a technical perspective.
- Technical expertise in the cybersecurity, cloud, and network security industries.
- Experience as a network administrator (or equivalent) in a Windows or Unix environment.
- Proven expertise with Network Security (Routers, Switches, firewalls, VPN, routers).
- Knowledge of Cloud and Virtualization platforms.
- Background in internetworking, LAN, and WAN technologies, as well as debugging complex enterprise environments.
- Strong experience leading complex enterprise projects using a structured approach.
- Excellent technical knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, routing, and DNS.
