Experienced Virology Customer Team Leader – Northwest District

We are committed to advancing the field of virology through cutting-edge research, collaboration, and innovation. **Responsibilities** As a Customer Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals in the Northwest District, which includes Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Northern Utah, Western Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Hiring, leading, and managing a team of Virology Sales professionals * Coaching direct reports, overseeing training, and completing people management processes for Virology Sales professionals * Developing and resourcing a customer team to address customer needs * Maximizing sales team performance and helping achieve/exceed sales and budget targets, as well as increasing access to our Virology products * Collaborating with Virology Sales organization, including Customer Team Leaders, Commercial Operations Directors, Account Managers, and more * Developing business plans for the geography and implementing national sales strategies and programs * Communicating and coordinating with both district and cross-functional teams and sharing best practices with direct reports and peers * Leading district sales meetings to inform and guide sales team * Conducting annual and ongoing performance reviews and competency assessments for direct reports * Handling discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy in partnership with Human Resources **Ideal Candidate** We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual with a proven track record of success in sales leadership.
