This is a foundational role with significant long-term growth potential. Initially structured as a fractional position, the role is designed to expand into a full-time leadership career path as the organization scales. We are looking for a committed, singular leader rather than an external consultant with a roster of clients. The ideal candidate is someone eager to invest their talent in one overarching mission and grow with the organization.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Leading and standardizing operations across a national chapter network
• Streamlining systems, workflows, SOPs and digital platforms to scale efficiently
• Partner on fundraising, grants, and corporate sponsorship execution
• Cultivating employer and partner relationships to drive job placement
• Translating strategic plans into measurable operational goals
Ideal background: 7+ years in operational leadership (COO/VP Operations or equivalent), strong financial and governance acumen, excellent stakeholder communication, and a genuine connection to the mission. Nonprofit or workforce development experience preferred. Requires a bachelor's degree in business or related field. MBA or relevant professional certification a plus.
