Job Summary
Investigate and resolve claims through research, coordination of benefits, and subrogation efforts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
LOCATION: This remote position requires that candidates reside in the following eligible states: Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Texas, Wisconsin, Michigan.
Responsibilities:
Investigate subrogation, overpayments, and coordination of benefits claims
Communicate with members, providers, attorneys, and insurers
Review and validate claims data for payment accuracy
Negotiate recovery amounts and process disbursements
Maintain COB data in claims systems
Ensure compliance with regulations such as HIPAA and ERISA
Identify and implement process improvements
Meet performance targets and manage caseloads
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years experience in claims investigation or related field
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in claims systems and subrogation tools
Knowledge of healthcare coding (CPT, ICD-10) preferred
