Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Dental Front Desk VA to support our client's dental practice as a virtual patient care coordinator. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, has 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in a U.S. dental front office, and is confident handling patient calls, scheduling, and recall management. You will be trained and directly supervised by the client.
• Manage recall lists and follow up with patients due for hygiene appointments
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
• Handle overflow calls from the practice's AI receptionist system
• Follow up with exam patients regarding treatment plans
• Reschedule no-show patients
• Verify dental insurance benefits as needed
• Provide general patient coordination and administrative support
• Adapt to a multi-provider environment where patients are assigned to the available provider
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in a U.S. dental front office or dental VA role
• Bilingual in English and Spanish -- fluent written and verbal communication required
• Experience with EagleSoft EMR; candidates with equivalent dental software experience will be considered
• Experience with Weave or a similar VoIP/patient communication platform is a plus
• Solid understanding of dental insurance verification (PPO and HMO)
• Professional phone presence and strong patient communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-provider practice setting
• Available Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM PST
Requirements
• Pay is $5 - $6 USD per hour depending on experience
• This is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week)
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM PST
