Role Description Schedules imaging and hospital ancillary services using the department's electronic medical record (EPIC). Responds to telephone scheduling inquiries and provides knowledgeable and courteous assistance with all customers including patients, referring physicians, co-workers, and leadership. Works calmly and efficiently while handling heavy telephone demands. Answers calls promptly and in a polite and efficient manner. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications • A minimum of 2 years of experience required in any one or a combination of the following: patient administration, logistics coordination, and/or a call center. • A minimum of one year of Imaging Scheduling Experience is preferred. • Previous experience with EPIC scheduling is highly preferred. • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Requirements • Excellent customer service skills for effectively communicating with all scheduling customers is required. • Ability to use standard office equipment: copier, computer terminal, document scanner and printer, fax machine, and multi-line telephone. • Typing speed of 35 wpm.
