Role Description
The Sales Associate is responsible for connecting with existing and potential customers while working on projects requiring strong sales skills to convert calls to sales.
• Process various incoming and outgoing sales-focused phone calls for assigned clients and programs.
• Ensure adherence to corporate and department policies and procedures.
• Call processing includes:
• Presenting offers
• Overcoming caller objections
• Transitioning between script elements
• Asking for sales
• Obtaining, entering, and verifying customer information (e.g., names, addresses, credit card numbers)
• Answering questions, resolving issues, and providing customer service
• Maintain established quality and completed calls per hour goals.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge regarding product offers, pricing, and upsells.
• Exercise exceptional customer service skills to optimize each contact with the customer.
• Ensure calls are processed in strict adherence to established policies, procedures, and applicable federal laws and regulations.
• Assist in resolving routine program quality issues by identifying and researching issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain required documentation accurately and timely using established systems.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of information provided by customers or data accessed within assigned systems.
• Establish and maintain a professional relationship with internal/external customers, team members, and department contacts.
• Escalate to supervisor any situation outside the employee’s control that could adversely impact the services being provided.
Qualifications
• Ability to work flexible schedules, which may include weekends.
• May need to be bilingual in English, Spanish, French, etc., based on program requirements.
• Minimum High School education/GED.
• Additional education and/or experience requirements may be required based on specific program.
• Passing program-specific assessments required.

• 1 Year Customer Service Call Center Experience (6+ Months).
