What you'll do
• Build and ship user-facing features for a consumer app used by millions, owning them from idea to release
• Translate product hypotheses into polished, performant iOS experiences in Swift / SwiftUI
• Share UI logic across platforms via Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM), collaborating closely with Android and Web frontend
• Instrument A/B experiments, read the resulting data, and iterate quickly on activation, retention, and engagement
• Own user feedback and long term product success
Requirements
• Strong iOS engineering skills with clear ownership of shipped, user-facing features
• Proficient in Swift and SwiftUI; comfortable with modern concurrency and app architecture
• Real product sense: you have opinions about UX and can tell good from "technically done"
• User sympathy - you instinctively notice friction, jank, and confusing flows
• Data-literate: experience with metrics, dashboards, and experiments to validate whether a change worked
• Clear communicator who can align with non-engineers and make tradeoffs explicit
• Bias toward shipping and learning over perfect architecture
Experience
• 3–5+ years building and iterating on mobile products used by real users
• Proven track record shipping iOS features and improving them based on feedback or metrics
• Professional experience with B2C / consumer-facing products, presumably in gaming, social, etc. realm
• Exposure to A/B testing or product experimentation is a strong plus
• Kotlin / KMM experience is a plus (but not a requirement)
Education
• Bachelor's degree or above. Shipped work, judgment, and product taste matter more than credentials.
Nice to have
• Experience at a fast-growing consumer app, or your own indie app on the App Store
• Interest in anime, otaku culture, creator communities, or AI image generation
