The Role
Dexerto is seeking an experienced and highly-motivated Junior Creative Strategist to join Dexerto’s Integrated Marketing team. The primary role of this position is to work within the presale function, contributing to cross-functional ideation and developing presentations for brand advertisers.
To be successful in this position you must be a gifted storyteller with the ability to develop innovative marketing concepts and strategies that meet advertiser objectives. You must have a strong understanding of social trends and internet culture and a point of view on what resonates with audiences online.
In this role you will be required to liaise with management, in-house content teams, and the sales team to ensure deadlines and objectives are met. You will be expected to have an excellent command of the English language with the interpersonal skills to work within a small-team environment. Good sense of humour is a plus.
Core Responsibilities
Requirements
3+ years of relevant experience building presentations for brand clients
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
Strong portfolio of work showcasing creative marketing solutions
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
Excellent time management skills and be well organised
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; a proficient understanding of Adobe design products is preferred
Comfortable using AI-powered tools to support ideation, research, and workflow efficiency
Interest or experience in data-driven storytelling, audience insights, and performance-led creative thinking
Self-starter with direct experience developing tactical media or content plans
Experience in the advertising or marketing industry is preferred
Market Development
Build understanding of gaming, esports, influencer marketing, and digital media trends
Learn digital advertising KPIs and campaign measurement frameworks
Track competitor activity and market developments
Candidate Profile
1–3 years of experience in media sales, agency planning, or digital marketing
Deep Understanding gaming, esports, entertainment, or creator culture
Commercially ambitious and highly motivated
Strong organisational and communication skills
Comfortable working across international markets
