Responsibilities
Translate written materials from English to various languages and vice versa
Ensure translations are culturally appropriate and contextually accurate
Collaborate with team members to understand project scopes and timelines
Proofread and edit translated documents for quality assurance
Maintain terminology consistency and manage translation memory systems
Stay updated on industry trends and language developments
Assist in the localization of materials for different audiences
Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in linguistics or related field is a plus
Fluency in English and at least one other language
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Basic understanding of translation tools and software

Previous translation experience, even as a volunteer, is beneficial
