As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be at the heart of this ecosystem, shaping the architecture that enables data scientists, analysts, and product managers to extract insights, build predictive models, and deliver personalized experiences to our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop data products: Design, build, and maintain scalable data warehouses and data lake solutions that support both batch and real‑time analytics.
- Build robust ETL pipelines: Create end‑to‑end data ingestion pipelines using industry‑standard tools and frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Snowflake, Flink, etc.) to move data from source systems into curated data stores.
- Collaborate with product and analytics teams: Partner with Data Product Owners, Data Modelers, and Data Architects to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high‑quality data solutions.
- Ensure data quality and governance: Implement data validation, monitoring, and documentation practices that uphold data integrity, compliance, and traceability.
- Optimize performance: Write efficient SQL queries, tune data models, and leverage MPP/cloud databases to meet stringent SLAs for latency and throughput.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: Contribute to sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives within a Scrum environment.
- Mentor junior engineers: Share knowledge, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of learning and technical excellence.
- Stay current with emerging technologies: Evaluate new data processing frameworks, cloud services, and best practices to keep careerzynith at the forefront of data engineering innovation.

- Exposure to machine learning pipelines and the ability to support data scientists in model training and deployment.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous learning.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Core Competencies for Success
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex data problems, identify root causes, and propose scalable solutions.
- Collaboration: Works effectively with cross‑functional teams, fostering open dialogue and shared ownership of outcomes.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast‑paced environment where priorities shift and new technologies emerge.
