Job Description:
Fashion Equity Firm (FEF) is a US-based, done-for-you fashion brand development and consulting company helping apparel founders worldwide build, fund, and scale their brands. We're looking for a contractor or contracted team to manage immediate lead follow-up, qualify applicants, and book discovery calls with our founder.
About the role:
Leads come in via application form from prospects around the world (US, UK, Europe, Africa, and beyond). We need someone — or a team — who can call/contact applicants immediately after they apply, while interest is highest. Given the global nature of our leads, we're open to working with a contractor who has multiple trained team members to ensure coverage across time zones, as long as quality, tone, and process are consistent across everyone involved.
What you'll do:
Respond to and call new applicants immediately upon form submission, regardless of time zone
Have genuine, personable conversations — this is relationship-building, not a hard sell
Prequalify leads based on budget (typically $5,000–$7,500+), goals, timeline, and fit using our framework
Book qualified prospects onto discovery/alignment calls with our founder
Manage Instagram comment/DM engagement as a secondary channel
Log every interaction, lead status, and outcome in our CRM (Salesmate) — accurate reporting is non-negotiable
Meet and maintain agreed-upon closing/booking ratios
What we're looking for:
Genuine knowledge of or background in the fashion industry — you should understand the world our clients live in (apparel brands, production, sourcing, branding) well enough to speak credibly
Experience as a setter, sales development rep, or similar in high-ticket coaching/consulting
Warm, friendly, personable communication style — prospects should feel cared for, not sold to
Strong spoken and written English
Ability to respond and call leads quickly (often within minutes of application)
CRM proficiency (Salesmate experience a plus, but trainable)
If applying as a company/team: ability to train multiple support leaders to the same standard, with a point of contact for quality oversight
