Job Description: Lead Software Engineer, Front End (TypeScript/React, AWS)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and AWS to design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, drive front-end architecture decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of secure, reliable, and user-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain modern front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Lead front-end architecture, component design, and application scalability initiatives.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Develop reusable UI components and establish front-end development standards.
• Integrate applications with APIs, cloud-based services, and backend systems.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and security.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers on best practices and technical growth.
• Drive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Participate in CI/CD implementation, deployment processes, and cloud-based development workflows.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the technology stack.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong understanding of modern front-end architecture, state management, and component-based development.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and cloud-based services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Next.js or similar modern React frameworks.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway, and Cognito.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization, accessibility standards, and security best practices.
• Experience contributing to design systems and reusable component libraries.
