Your Role & Responsibilities
• Compassionate Problem Solving: Act as the primary point of contact for patients, clarifying medical bills, insurance claims, and payment options with clarity and empathy.
• RCM Accuracy: Verify and update patient information within EHR and billing systems, ensuring the data integrity required for full-service RCM.
• Bridge the Gap: Collaborate closely with our medical office teams to resolve billing discrepancies and streamline the patient’s financial experience.
• Trend Analysis: Identify recurring billing issues and proactively suggest improvements to our internal processes.
• Engaging with Patients: Make outbound calls to assist patients with billing questions and collect payment, ensuring a positive experience.
• Collaborating with Teams: Work closely with our accounts receivable follow-up team to address past due accounts, striving for efficient resolutions.
• Supporting Claims Process: Help with mailing secondary claims and gather necessary medical records to facilitate smooth operations.
Who You Are
• An Elite Communicator: You possess exceptional phone etiquette and can translate "billing-speak" into plain English for patients.
• Detail-Oriented: You understand that in RCM, the small details make the biggest difference.
• Tech-Proficient: Experience with billing software, EHRs, or platforms like and Availity is a major plus.
• Bilingual Advantage: Multilingual candidates (especially English/Spanish) are highly encouraged to apply!
Qualifications
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills to connect effectively with patients and team members.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in PC applications, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and online software systems.
• Experience: At least 1 year in patient in-bound calls, medical billing, and handling multi-billing systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance workflows is advantageous.
• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration is a plus.
Competitive Compensation
• Salary Range: Earn $26,000 to $28,000 per year, including a monthly bonus that rewards your hard work!
