Mortgage Loan Originator (Team-Based | Inbound Leads + Draw Available)

Kinsfolk Mortgage is a fast-growing mortgage brokerage seeking licensed Mortgage Loan Originators to join our team-based environment. This role focuses on working inbound leads, conducting pre-approvals, and guiding clients through the early stages of the loan process while collaborating closely with our operations team. We provide consistent inbound lead flow, strong operational support, and a structured system designed to help you convert leads and grow your production. This is a team-based role. You will be working company-provided leads while leveraging internal support to move files efficiently from application to closing. Responsibilities: • Contact and follow up with inbound leads using calls, texts, and CRM follow-up • Respond quickly to new leads and maintain consistent communication • Take complete and accurate loan applications • Run AUS/DU and structure pre-approvals • Build rapport with clients and guide them through the mortgage process • Maintain consistent follow-up to keep clients engaged and moving forward • Maintain accurate notes and pipeline in Follow-Up Boss CRM • Work closely with internal team members (LOA and processing) to ensure clean and complete files Qualifications: • Active NMLS license (required) • Mortgage experience preferred • Experience running DU/AUS and structuring loan scenarios • Strong communication and follow-up skills • Ability to build rapport and move clients through the process • Comfortable working in a team-based environment • Organized and able to manage pipeline effectively • Experience with Arive or similar LOS is a plus Compensation: • Commission-based • 0.50% (50 bps) on company-provided leads • 1.00% (100 bps) on self-generated business • Uncapped earning potential • Recoverable draw available during ramp-up (60–90 days) Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Work from home Application Question(s): • How many years of mortgage experience do you have? • What is the highest number of active loan files you have managed at one time? • Are you comfortable running AUS/DU independently and interpreting findings? • Are you confident calculating income for W2, variable, and self-employed borrowers? • Are you comfortable making multiple daily follow-up attempts (calls, texts) to engage and convert inbound leads? • Are you confident building rapport with clients and guiding them through the pre-approval process? • Have you used a CRM system to manage leads and follow-up (such as Follow-Up Boss or similar)? • Are you comfortable working within a team structure where leads are assigned and processes are standardized? • Are you comfortable working in a commission-based role with a recoverable draw during ramp-up? • Are you willing to work some weekends? • Please provide your active NMLS license number: Work Location: Remote
