About the position
Community Advantage Rehabilitation (CAR), a Spectrum Health Care Company is seeking Registered Occupational Therapists to provide virtual services to adult clients in the community. This independent contractor role offers a highly flexible work schedule, with part-time or full-time opportunities available. Compensation is based on volume (Estimated annual earning potential is between \$82,000 - \$102,000, however actual earnings may vary based on service volumes).
Responsibilities
• Provide occupational therapy services virtually
• Conduct occupational therapy assessments using interviews, standardized tools, and informal assessment techniques
• Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans in collaboration with clients and caregivers
• Assign, supervise, and monitor occupational therapy assistants as appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely, and professional documentation, including: Assessment findings, Care plans, Progress and discharge summaries, Reports aligned with referral source requirements and COTO standards
Requirements
• Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
• Proficiency with computer applications, including MS Office Suite and proprietary clinical software
Nice-to-haves
• 1 - 2 years experience is an asset, but new graduates are welcome
