Job Description:
• Own the claims process for assigned Oral Surgery offices
• Submit and manage insurance claims to ensure maximum reimbursement
• Resolve claim denials by drafting and submitting appeals with supporting documentation
• Post payments, pull electronic funds transfers (EFTs), and generate financial reports for assigned offices
• Attend weekly client meetings to provide updates and address billing concerns
• Ensure proper claim documentation by attaching narratives, images, and chart notes
Requirements:
• At least one year of oral surgery billing experience required, two years preferred
• Comfortable using dental practice management software (WINOMS, OMS Vision, Dentrix, Open Dental, etc.) and Google Suite
• A positive, solutions-oriented approach to challenges
• Strong accuracy, compliance, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while meeting goals
• Must work well with others in a team environment
• Flexibility and strong time management skills
• High school or equivalent (Required)
