Position Overview
POD Health is seeking a full-time licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through our fully remote telehealth platform. This role is ideal for a clinician who is comfortable leveraging technology to assess, treat, and educate patients across a variety of musculoskeletal and functional conditions. You will play a key role in improving patient mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life—while helping shape the future of virtual rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive virtual physical therapy evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide real-time telehealth therapy sessions, including guided exercises and patient education
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams (providers, care coordinators, RPM teams)
Document all patient interactions accurately and timely within the EMR
Support patients with chronic conditions through ongoing engagement and care planning
Educate patients on injury prevention, mobility, and wellness strategies
Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and HIPAA requirements
Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in New York (multi-state licensure a plus, especially in Florida and/or Colorado)
Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience (outpatient, orthopedic, or rehab preferred)
Experience or interest in telehealth/virtual care delivery
Strong clinical assessment and patient engagement skills
Comfortable using digital tools, EMRs, and telehealth platforms
Excellent communication and bedside manner in a virtual environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) or Chronic Care Management (CCM)
Multi-state licensure or willingness to obtain additional licenses
Bilingual skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Russian a huge plus)
Experience working with diverse or underserved populations

Compensation
$85,000 – $110,000 annually (based on experience)
