Position Overview:
The Sprinkler/Plumbing Take-off Specialist plays a crucial role in project estimation by accurately interpreting drawings, performing takeoffs, and preparing cost proposals. This position requires strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and effective communication to ensure precise calculations and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct takeoffs from plumbing and sprinkler drawings to determine material quantities and labor costs.
- Review all project documents and drawings to assess factors impacting the scope of work.
- Obtain vendor pricing for materials and supplies to ensure cost accuracy.
- Input takeoff data and prepare detailed proposals using provided Word and Excel templates.
- Ensure timely submission of projects while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in Plumbing & Sprinkler Takeoffs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel for documentation and proposal preparation.
- Hands-on experience with Revu Bluebeam for digital takeoffs and markup processes.
- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints with accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
