Direct Counsel is seeking a Privacy Litigation Associate to join a leading international law firm’s highly regarded Privacy Litigation Group. The firm is widely recognized for defending complex, high-stakes privacy disputes involving cutting-edge legal issues at the intersection of technology, consumer protection, and regulatory enforcement.
Requirements
- Defend clients in privacy and data security class actions, including data breach litigation
- Handle matters involving state and federal privacy statutes and consumer protection laws
- Support and lead responses to regulatory investigations and attorney general enforcement actions
- Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery responses
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
- Manage discovery, including e-discovery workflows and document review
- Take and defend depositions and participate in expert discovery
- Work closely with clients on case strategy and risk mitigation
