Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bodor Laser USA is a leading global manufacturer specializing in laser cutting technology. They are seeking a driven Account Executive to support business growth in Texas, focusing on new business development and consultative technical sales within the metal fabrication community.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business through cold calling, cold visits, in-person prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, inbound leads, and other business development activities
- Build and leverage relationships across the metal fabrication, sheet metal, manufacturing, and related industrial communities to identify and develop new opportunities
- Manage the sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through discovery, solution development, proposal, negotiation, and closing
- Understand customers’ manufacturing processes, applications, and operational needs and recommend appropriate laser cutting solutions in collaboration with technical teams
- Deliver product presentations, proposals, and demonstrations, and coordinate sample testing and technical evaluations with internal teams
- Build strong relationships with prospective and existing customers and conduct regular site visits to develop and advance sales opportunities
- Identify, develop, and support dealers, distributors, and other strategic channel partners to expand market coverage
- Maintain accurate CRM records, manage a healthy pipeline, and provide timely forecasts and updates on deal progress and market activity
- Partner with Application Engineering, Service, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other internal teams to support deal execution and customer success
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity and represent Bodorlaser at trade shows, open houses, conferences, and customer events
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, technical sales, or business development within industrial equipment, manufacturing technology, automation, metal fabrication, or a related environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and manage sales opportunities through close
- Strong prospecting, communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote, field-based environment
- Experience using CRM systems to manage customer activities, pipeline, and forecasting
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently to customer sites
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English
- Direct sales experience with laser cutting systems, CNC machinery, machine tools, metal fabrication equipment, industrial automation, capital equipment, or closely related manufacturing solutions
- Established relationships or a strong professional network within the Texas metal fabrication, sheet metal, manufacturing, or industrial community
- Proven success selling into fabricators, manufacturers, machine shops, contract manufacturers, or related industrial customers
- Experience selling complex, high-value capital equipment or technical solutions
- Familiarity with metal fabrication, sheet metal processing, CNC equipment, laser applications, or manufacturing operations
- Experience developing or managing dealers, distributors, or other channel partners
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
- Mandarin Chinese language skills are a plus
