They are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead a team of self-employed designers, focusing on driving sales performance and ensuring exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Driving sales performance and delivering profitable revenue growth
- Driving improvements across sales and conversion KPIs
- Coaching and motivating your team using clear performance plans via regular field visits and one to ones
- Recruiting and onboarding high quality designers to maintain optimal area coverage
- Monitoring KPIs and using performance data to identify growth opportunities
- Run disciplined weekly, monthly and quarterly performance rhythms
- Championing an exceptional customer experience and resolving customer issues
- Understand and develop local market dynamics, customer activity and opportunity
Skills
- A minimum of 5 years' sales experience with a strong track record of delivering results
- Proven experience in a field-based sales management role, leading geographically dispersed teams
- Background in direct to customer (D2C) sales, ideally within furniture, interiors, home improvements or premium consumer goods
- Strong coaching and leadership skills with hands-on motivational energy
- Commercially astute with strong analytical capability and confidence using data to drive decisions
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
- A proactive approach, resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across your area and the UK
- Comfortable working in a lifestyle based role with evening and weekend availability
