[Remote] Business Intelligence Analyst

Wacom Technology Corporation seeks applicants for a full-time Business Intelligence Analyst position at their facility in Vancouver, WA. This role involves designing and implementing effective Tableau reporting solutions to provide meaningful business and operational insights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts and technical staff to translate complex business requirements into effective reporting solutions
• Analyze upstream data sources and work with technical staff to produce source-to-target data mappings and specifications
• Design and develop highly effective dashboards and reports using Tableau
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of dashboards and reports and confirm that business requirements have been met
• Validate source-to-target data flows, mapping, and logic changes, and ensure visualization accuracy
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate resolutions to the user community
• Drive and recommend design changes for Tableau dashboards
• Document, communicate, and train the Wacom user community on new solutions
• Utilize KPIs and best practices for data visualization techniques
• Work both independently and collaboratively with a team of developers on functional specifications
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and effectively communicate with leadership and peers

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance or Computer Science
• 24 months of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst
• Data warehousing and/or business reporting solutions experience
• BI reporting and visualization tools (Tableau required)
• Use of SQL in database query tools
• Project Management experience
