The Clinical Analyst role is responsible for handling complex data projects and providing advanced analytical support to clinical and operational teams through actionable data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced analytical support for business operations in all or some of the following areas: authorizations, claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, external reporting
- Extract, load, model, and reconcile large amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources
- Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management
- Develop reports and deliverables for management
- Model data using Power BI, MS Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data warehouse analytical tools
- Ensure compliance with federal and state deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis
- Assist with training and mentoring other Data Analysts
- Performs other duties as assigned

Skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of statistical analysis or data analysis experience
- Provide advanced analytical support for business operations in all or some of the following areas: authorizations, claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, external reporting
- Extract, load, model, and reconcile large amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources
- Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management
- Develop reports and deliverables for management
- Model data using Power BI, MS Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data warehouse analytical tools

- Complies with all policies and standards
- Power BI experience, including building dashboards and data models from source data, strongly preferred
- SQL coding experience with the ability to extract and validate data from source systems strongly preferred
- Healthcare analytics experience, particularly with clinical or authorization related data, strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data validation, strongly preferred
- Demonstrated analytical and trend analysis skills with the ability to identify insights, issues, and opportunities for improvement, strongly preferred
