Our team is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Maryland residents by delivering exceptional customer service and support. **Job Responsibilities:** As a Remote Customer Service Representative for MD Medicaid at careerzynith, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to Maryland residents via phone, email, and chat * Assisting with Medicaid-related inquiries, applications, and enrollments * Utilizing the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform tasks and duties * Ensuring delivery of high-quality service for all Maryland consumers * Working collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer issues and concerns * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions * Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge **Key Qualifications:** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess: * High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification * 6 months of recent call center experience * Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse and disadvantaged populations in a courteous and effective manner * Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills * Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working in a healthcare or social services environment * Bilingual or multilingual skills * Experience with Medicaid or other government programs * Certification in customer service or a related field **Equipment and Internet Requirements:** * Desktop or laptop with Intel Core i5 Processor or higher with 8GB Memory (No Celeron or Pentium processors) * Desktop or laptop with a minimum of 256GB hard drive * Windows 10 or 11 * Minimum of 1 USB Gen 2 or newer port (wired headset) * 1 RJ-45 connection for a wired connection to internet router * Wired Headset and microphone with a USB Gen2 or newer connection * Video camera capability, necessary for training * Wired internet connection from computer to router or modem * Download speed 100 MBPS minimum * Upload speed 10 MBPS minimum **Training and Onboarding:** * System Training: 3 weeks, 9:30am-6:00pm EST, M-F (Day 1-7) and 9:30am-6:00pm EST, M-F (Day 8-15) * Nesting: 4 weeks, 9:30am-6:00pm EST * Monday-Friday schedules will remain 9:30 am- 6:00pm after training * You must be committed to working this schedule **Benefits:** * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Vision insurance * Work from home * 8 hour shift * Day shift **Work Environment:** * Remote work environment with flexible scheduling * Collaborative and supportive team culture * Ongoing training and professional development opportunities * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **How to Apply:** If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
