Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Atom is seeking a Director of Finance Transformation (Oracle Cloud ERP) to lead and scale their Finance Transformation practice. This role involves hands-on leadership in shaping architecture, designing solutions, and guiding configuration while ensuring successful client delivery and practice growth.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the vision and strategy for the Finance Transformation practice aligned with company objectives
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team, with full accountability for delivery and growth
- Drive YoY expansion through new client acquisition, account growth, and strategic partnerships
- Contribute to business development by leveraging your network and industry relationships
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives, owning key relationships and ensuring long-term success
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex Oracle Cloud ERP transformations (Financials, SCM, Manufacturing)
- Ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Actively participate in solution architecture, design, and configuration—not just oversight
- Provide deep expertise across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, especially Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM), and core processes such as O2C, P2P, and R2R
- Guide teams through complex design decisions and troubleshoot critical delivery challenges
- Build and scale accelerators, frameworks, and best practices to enhance delivery efficiency
- Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously evolve service offerings
- Identify opportunities to expand into adjacent technologies and ecosystems
- Own practice financials, including revenue growth, profitability, and cost management
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize utilization and performance
Skills
- 10+ years of leadership experience in Finance Transformation, including roles as Practice Director, Delivery Lead, or equivalent
- Proven track record delivering 7+ full lifecycle ERP implementations, with deep involvement in architecture, design, and execution
- 10+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, particularly Financials (required)
- Strong expertise in core finance and operational processes, including: Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), Order Management (OM)
- Demonstrated ability to balance executive leadership with hands-on delivery involvement
- Established industry network and ability to contribute to business development efforts
- Experience across other enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, SAP, ServiceNow) is a plus
- Oracle Cloud certifications preferred
