Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amerit Consulting is a fast-growing staffing and consulting firm, and they are seeking an accomplished Epic Cupid Certified Analyst. The role involves analyzing and maintaining Epic clinical applications, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize system solutions, and independently resolving complex clinical application issues.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes, configures, develops, tests, implements, supports, and maintains Epic clinical applications and related solutions to meet complex operational and technical requirements
- Partners with clinical and operational stakeholders to translate advanced clinical workflows into effective system solutions, while independently leading optimization efforts and serving as an escalation resource for complex or high-risk issues
Skills
- Must be cupid certified (would like to see multiple EPIC certifications, if possible)
- Hospital experience is important - MUST NEED at least 5-6 years' experience
- 5 years' experience in build – MUST have strong experience/knowledge. The team will not provide additional training or mentorship. Contractor must be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision. Fully independent
- This is not a Project management role
- Cariology PACS upgrade – some PACS experience would be good, they have a PACS team they will be talking to
- Advanced working knowledge of configuring, testing, supporting, and optimizing Epic and other third-party applications in a complex operational environment
- Demonstrates deep understanding of clinical workflows and terminology and independently applies this knowledge to complex analysis, troubleshooting, and solution design
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools to support advanced documentation, analysis, and cross functional communication
- Must be able to independently analyze and resolve complex clinical application issues and assess patient safety, regulatory, and downstream impacts
- Must prioritize competing clinical and operational demands and make informed decisions with minimal oversight
- Proactively anticipates risks and ensures stakeholders have the information required to support safe and effective clinical decision making
- Must be able to lead meetings, facilitate clinical working sessions, and present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
- Communicates effectively with clinicians, operational partners, and IT teams to support change management, workflow redesign, and issue resolution
- Ensures timely, clear communication and documentation
- Demonstrates a strong record of professional success and accountability
- Proactively anticipates and addresses issues, understands interdependencies across clinical workflows, and escalates appropriately
- Possesses broad understanding of clinical operations, regulatory requirements, patient safety considerations, and system integrations
